News from Queens Park Tennis Club
Here is a round-up of the latest news from your local tennis club.
The club tennis courts are being serviced, cleaned and painted in time for the new season. They will be open and ready for business on Saturday 11 April.
The club committee has elected to freeze the annual subscriptions at £55 a year (£50 if you purchase before 31st May). There are also significant reductions for kids, down £6 on last year. Click here for full details.
Kids tennis classes are offered every Saturday morning with LTA registered coach Andy Mullins (who is also captain of Saltdean Tennis Club). Classes are £6 per child for one hour, and there are two age groups:
9am-10am: 5-8yrs.
10am-11am: 9-12 yrs.

Rusty Rackets, overseen by club coach Mel Bowden, is just £10 per session: 11am-12.30 every Saturday morning. If you want to warm up your forehand or rediscover your serve&volley, this is the perfect no-pressure environment for you.

The club has its Open Day on Saturday 23 May from 1pm. It’s free admission to all-comers. The club offer a range of fun tennis activities including free coaching and a chance to try out the latest top of the range tennis rackets. Delicious snacks & drinks will be served all day in the clubhouse. It’s an ideal way to get a feel for the club and meet a few more people from the Queens Park area.
