Lighting Around Queens Park

The council will undertake modest improvements to the lighting in and around Queens Park after concerns were raised at the Queens Park LAT meeting last month.

This followed a night-time sexual assault by the park (North Drive) as well as separate instances of anti social behaviour.

Local councillor Dan Chapman said: “Although they cannot install more lights, they will go round and clean the existing ones and, where possible, will replace the bulbs with brighter ones.”
