“What better way to spend a summer’s evening?”: Shakespeare In The Park

For one night only, the lush grounds and imposing colonnades of the Royal Spa Nursery will become the Forest of Arden, in which four characters each find their soul-mates. One pair leap straight into bed, another are instantly struck by each other’s beauty and the third tease each other endlessly. The fourth couple enjoy a courtship that is so witty and playful that love itself is stretched to the limit: “Love is merely a madness.”  It is fresh, funny, sexy, and when it matters, deeply touching. Here is some authentic audience feedback from the current Illyria production:
