A new Facebook page has been created by a local dog owner called The Dog Walkers of Queens Park Brighton and you can link to it here. You can post photos of your dog, chat with other owners and post thoughts about any of the issues facing the dogs and their owners in Queens Park. Go and have a look.

Despite overnight gales and gusting showers a cheerful bunch of some 20 volunteers including five children turned up to dig, prune and clear ground in the Wild Garden. Read more…
‘CONTACT US’ Glitch
We seem to have had a glitch with our ‘Contact us’ , and many of you who have contacted us have not had a reply. We are so sorry. The problem is now sorted, and you should be getting replies ( though probably too late for your questions – sorry again!) any time now.
‘Clean Up Green Up Day’ in the Wild Garden
Sunday 25th November 2012 11am – 3pm
Hot drinks and cake 12.30pm – 1.30pm
This Clean Up Day has grown in popularity in recent years, and everyone, young and old, are welcome. It’s an excellent chance to to get involved in your Park, or just to pop in for some cocoa and cake , see what’s going on, and meet some of the Queens Park Community.

Graffiti gone
Thanks to the prompt action of the Park’s gardeners, all is back as it should be. Many thanks for their wonderful work.

Bowling Green Hut damaged by fire.
A fire-works night accident has left the Bowling Green Hut badly damaged. Fortunately the Fire Brigade were quickly on the scene to prevent the Hut from burning down, but the damage was extensive; as if the poor old Hut wasn’t in a bad enough state before! Read more…
