Carols In The Park Photos
The rain held off on a mlld winter night for The Friends of Queens Park’s fourth ‘Carols in the Park’. The evening was attended by more carol singers than ever before, and it is just possible that the FQP actually raised funds rather than spend them.
I’m afraid we ran out of Song Sheets, but community spirit prevailed and everyone was happy to share with their neighbours; quite a few knew the words anyway. Next year we promise hundreds more Song Sheets.
Our great thanks to Martin and the Band of the Salvation Army for the music, to the Co oP for the mince pies and to Harvey’s of Lewes for the mulled wine. Wishing you all Very Happy Christmas frorm everyone at the Friends of Queens Park.
